Local Places - Terezín (40 minutes)

Terezín is a former military fortress and garrison town in the Ústí nad Labem Region.

Terezín is probably most reknowned for it's use during the Second World War when the Gestapo seized it and used it as a ghetto, concentrating Jews from Czechoslovakia, Germany and Austria. It is thought that over 20% of the people that were detained in Terezín died.
