Ústí nad Labem Region - Swimming/Sauna

As well as using the pool at the house, there are also more swimming pools locations local to Ústí nad Labem.


Brná Outdoor Pool


Just South and across the river is Brná, home to the award-winning Brná outdoor pools. Here you can find thermal pools, beach volleyball, minigolf (crazy golf) as well as a selection of refreshments. From the pool it is possible to see out across the river to the beautiful valley behind.


In 2008 the Brná pool was awarded the "Top Outdoor Pool 2008" award by R1 Lyra regional TV channel.


Městské Služby Leisure Centre


In the North West of Ústí nad Labem at Klíše is the Městské Služby leisure centre. The leisure centre features both an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a 26°C natural thermal bore hole. There are also steam rooms.


The outdoor area has a 50m x 21m swimming pool as well as a children's pool. Seperate to this is a diving pool with a 10 metre-high board. Please note that the outdoor pool is unavailable during the winter months.

Přírodní Koupaliště (Natural Lake)


There are many lakes around Ústí nad Labem. Our personal favourite is just to the North of Ústí near to Varvažov. The lake here is very popular amongst the locals. During the winter it is common for the lake to freeze over and occasionally the ice is thick enough to walk and skate over (though we strongly recommend you check this thoroughly before venturing out!!). During the summer the lake is warm and there is an area around the lake which is also good for sunbathing.


Fishing is prohibited in these lakes.
