Whether you were looking for a relaxing week away, a bit of an adventure or just to go somewhere you've never been before, Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic can provide all these ingredients for perhaps one of the most memorable holidays you'll ever have.
Střekov Castle seen from the Balcony
You will be staying at the top of Pavla Stránského, a beautiful road winding up the side of a valley with stunning views from 3 sides of the house. From here you can see straight across the valley at the mysterious Střekov castle, north up the valley to Ústí nad Labem city centre and south down the valley towards Prague.
The nearby Waterfall
At the house there is no shortage of things to keep you entertained. The outdoor heated swimming pool is available through the summer months, providing an easy way to relax during the day and, using the in-built lighting, all through the night too. The beautiful gardens feature a small orchard providing apples and cherries ripe for the picking. On the south side of the house is a self-enclosed garden featuring a whole variety of plants that bloom at various times through the year.
Ústí nad Labem
The area surrounding the house continues to provide that same entertainment. The evergreen forest just ten metres behind the house, surreptitiously hides the waterfall. In the area surrounding the waterfall are miles of marked walkways guiding you through the forests many paths. Further afield, an hour's drive north and you will reach Dresden, seeped in memories from the Second World War. An hour south and you wll be in Prague surrounded by it's medieval attractions.
The house can accomodate parties of up to 12 people (although we have entertained guests ourselves with parties of 16!) - although smaller parties will not feel to lost in the deceptively large house space. For booking information and prices, please see the booking page.
